There are high quality workers and low quality workers in every country. I think what happens in the successful outsourcing markets, is that there is more demand than there are qualified people to supply that demand. Enterprising outsourcing companies start pulling in under-qualified workers to meet the demand. Not to say they are not smart enough or won't eventually be good workers, just that many of them are not fully trained when they are staffed to work projects.

The situation won't be any better if you look to other markets that don't have the infrastructure in place to ramp-up/train new workers.

You just have to get better at interviewing to make sure you get the good workers and not someone who just started 2 weeks ago.

I see that India and Philipines are the most prefered countries for outsourcing. But I have also noticed something else. That when you tell people that...they usually don't trust the quality of the services anymore. I wonder why that happens. Is it because these countries are extremely poor or is it because people aren't enough open-minded? Should we outsource to countries that have a better economy?

Another thing that I'd like to add about outsourcing and I think that this is one of the most important aspects about the exercise. Outsourcing forces you out of the "S" quadrant and into the mindset that someone in the "B" quadrant would have.

It teaches you the all important task of delegating and creating policies to bring you into the "right hand side of the quadrant".

Brandon and Matt,
I just found you guys through iTunes and wanted to thank you for putting these podcasts out there. I have been listening to a ton of Internet Marketing podcasts (at least 50 hours worth) in the last month and am finding your podcasts to be the most in depth and to the point out of all of them. As an example, I have been hearing people talk about hiring VA's in other podcasts but this episode nailed it on the head for me with your specific details, suggestions, and tips. I really appreciate you going into the details of your own workflow and your suggestions. Please keep up the good work and I wish you success in all your ventures.
